On behalf of Wilber and Clark Properties, we welcome you to Downtown Oneonta, NY.
As one of the City’s largest commercial landlords, we’ve been engaged in the enhancement of our community for decades. Our buildings feature welcoming entries, and spacious, well-designed interiors that provide our tenant businesses with ample room for display and their customers with easy access to goods and inventory.
At Wilber and Clark, we know that a vital and vibrant downtown serves everyone’s interests, and adds immeasurably to the enjoyment of our shared quality of life.
Therefore, our commitment to our cadre of commercial tenants extends far beyond that of a “typical” landlord. We provide support to our community of businesses through an active social media presence, and this website. Wilber and Clark also produce or underwrite various print, radio and web promotions that advertise its commercial tenants, individually and collectively.
We also work with our tenants to remodel or otherwise improve the retail experience. (See especially, The Eight Note and the Underground Attic, for examples.)
In short, Wilber and Clark are proud supporters of Downtown Oneonta, and we take very seriously our role and our potential to make that experience enjoyable and memorable for visitors – and profitable for our commercial tenants.
We hope you find this website to be a useful resource. Should you be interested in one of our available commercial spaces – or just want to say hello – we invite you to call or stop by. We’d love to talk with you!

TESTIMONIALS
He’s the best. I’ve been in business for 44 years with a number of landlords.
He treats me with respect. I couldn’t ask for anything better.
Deb North, Razzle Dazzle
He’s really helped us a lot for a growing young business.
I credit him with a lot of our success, with a nice spot on Main Street. He even spends money here. He takes his staff here for lunch, and comes in on his own… has a burger. I’ve been here two years now, and couldn’t ask for a better landlord. He’s probably the best I’ve ever dealt with.
Mike Joubert, Wise Guys Sammys & Wise Guys Scoops
Pete has gone above and beyond on everything, from the very beginning. He helped make this place what it is today. He helped me design it, and did a lot of the work in here. He was absolutely amazing all the way through. Since then, he’s taken the extra time to check things out in person. I absolutely would not be doing things at the level I am without him.
Elizabeth Raphaelson, The Underground Attic
He’s probably the best landlord I’ve ever had. If we need things he’s on top of it, and sends a crew right over. Several years ago we had a major flood. It was an unusual thing, where a water pipe froze that goes to the sprinkler system on the fourth flour. The college kids went home and turned off the heat, but when they came back again they turned on the heat and it cracked the pipes. And the water came down… Pete said, “My boys are available.” They came in and sheet-rocked. And they opened up a new section for lesson rooms. He’s just been a terrific landlord, as far as I’m concerned.
